The ONF secures and renews the forest of L'Isle-Adam

The state-owned forest of L'Isle-Adam is managed by the National Forestry Office. It has carried out a thoughtful clearing on several plots equivalent to about 7% of the 1,600 hectares of the forest, with the aim of renewing the stands while maintaining a diverse landscape of large and small trees.
By selectively cutting certain trees, the forester has secured the area and provided light and space for the trees to grow. During this intervention, the trees were cut according to their own maturity. Thanks to this method, the forest cover has been maintained, allowing a permanent view of the wooded state. At the same time, hazardous and dry trees have been removed.
